This page summarises how responsibility for goods is handled when Desc Logistics provides services.
1. Care of goods
Desc Logistics takes reasonable care of goods in its custody and works with carriers and agents who are expected to do the same.
2. Limits
Liability for loss, damage or delay is limited as set out in the applicable transport conventions, the carrier's terms and your booking terms. We recommend cargo insurance for valuable goods.
3. Claims
Report any visible damage or shortage when the goods are delivered and in writing as soon as possible afterwards, with photographs and documents.
